How long were you waiting for your Final approval email? My interview was 2 weeks ago and I am still waiting.

When I interviewed she said it would take ~3-4 weeks post interview to receive the CCW

Yea was told the same thing, but my buddy got his after a week after the interview, so just wondering if it varies based on person.

Got my initial approval email today. Waiting for call to process payment.

Got a call in regards to my renewal app. Had 2 problems:
- Did not list a cell phone ticket from 2018 so I had to "type up an explanation letter for your cell phone ticket that you received in 2018". On the app it had asked for moving violations which I did not think a cell phone ticket counted as one.
- Good cause statement...I had included a police report from an incident from 2013 where I was a victim assault. She said that the incident is too old and said it will no longer be accepted as good cause. Luckily I had other parts to my good cause that was acceptable.

She said that if I have hobbies like hiking, camping, or fishing where there's risk of being attached by animals (i also added humans) then those hobbies can be used with proof like photos of me doing such activities. I was surprised because I heard they stopped accepting these as good cause.

5/26 submitted app
7/01 first contact from CCW unit advising that someone is assigned to my file.
8/21 got a call from CCW from a different person advising of the problem with my good cause and cell phone ticket. I sent email explaining the ticket.
8/24 approval text and email

Have any of you had success getting any feedback after submitting documents? After the interview she needed a few documents. I submitted and was just missing a passport photo. Passport was submitted to the web app and through email and no response, is this typical?

I guess it depends on what you are doing. After submitting my renewal app I had sold one of the guns on there. I emailed the ccw unit and they made the change to the app. Shortly after that, I had purchased another gun, qualified, uploaded the cert, and then sent them an email. They emailed back saying that they have added the gun to the app.

8/25 Received call to make payment over the phone. Will receive CCW license in about 3 days in the mail.
