I am curious, when the deputy asked you why you were looking to get a CCW, did you mention your original good cause, or did you say something else entirely?

I applied when I assumed GC was a requirement so it was already on my application. Although I wasn't expecting him to ask about it I just restated what was already included on my app.

Then you have to apply with LAPD. LASD will not accept your application unless your local PD isn't issuing.

Hey everyone, I get an unbearable amount of robocalls throughout the day. Worried I might miss the interview call, mistaking it for spam. Can you please share which area code you were called from to schedule your interview? Reading this thread, some say private call, some say 213. Any others? Anyone get a 424 area code? I get about 6 of those a day. Can start picking up on them if possible it’s LASD but would really prefer to know beforehand so I’m not encouraging robocalls by picking those up.

FWIW, I applied in person 6/28/22 at LASD weho.

Random question, I have a P365XL with a Wilson Combat grip module, is changing the grip module allowed per LASD, or do I have to stick with the OEM Sig grip module?

Since they allow red dots..I imagine a grip change is just fine and dandy.
