So I don't know if anyone has successfully amended their current license to remove and add a new firearm but I just sent them the amendment application to see if I can remove one and add a different one.

Post scotus ruling, I don't think they can change whether or not they issue/renew ccws. Other than maybe increasing the fees of course, I could see them eventually even creating a more streamlined process to reduce the backlog of applications.8/19/21 - app submitted

This used to be the case. However, they changed this not long ago. It is on their website. You now can add and remove guns to your permit. I did my training with shootsafe academy for my ccw and he has a YouTube channel. Here is a video he did on amending your guns for LA county

I wouldn't be surprised if LASD CCW gravy train stops as soon as Luna is sworn into office. Unlike Villanueva, Luna is the LAC Board of Supervisors' lackey, especially since they now control the fate of the Sheriff's office in their grubby hands.
I haven't followed the CCW process in a while. Has LAPD started issuing CCW's since SCOTUS decision? Or are people still waiting to be refused by LAPD before they turn to LASD?Last edited by sfvshooter; 11-10-2022, 9:58 AM.Too many rifles, not enough time...Comment

LAPD started scheduling interviews to ccw applicants, so the ball is rolling over there.
Per scotus ruling, and since lasd ccw issuance has been on going for the last two years or so, I doubt Luna would be able to stop the issuance of ccws in LA County altogether. If anything, I see him either raising fees or adding extra steps to the process.Comment
