Sorry if I'm just trying to catch some more possible info, but im going to make myself sound like a *** by assuming that you mailed/submitted app in July of 2022?

I had mailed my app July 15th, 2022 to LASD with a USPS M/O of $30 which recently just got cashed and no call yet of any spam or unknown number for possible interview appt.

You’ve got a long time until you get the phone call. I submitted my app to LASD pre-Bruen, in Dec 2021, and got my call in October 2022, as did several friends of mine who applied at the same time. You’ll likely get your call for interview late spring 2023, at the earliest, or early summer 2023.

Hey guys, now the 4 week wait begins.

I didn't want my time line in my signature but here it is.

Applied Aug 2021 LASD.
Interview May 18th 2022.
Sent a follow up email 10/2022. Got the standard reply that you'll be contacted when they are ready.

Got a phone call 11/2/22 asking for clarification on something that popped up on my live scan. It was a 3 minute conversation.

Magically I got the email Thurs night at 818pm to submit training docs which I sent right back.

I got the email to expect the call in 4 weeks the following morning around 9am.

It was a super long journey but to be able to get a ccw in LA is pretty amazing. I know some of you in shall issue counties think it's crazy that we're glad to finally be able to get what should be our constitutional right to carry. It is what it is.

Yes, I think things could be done more efficiently but the deputies were all extremely helpful and I felt like they were doing their best.

This thread definitely helped me.

Yeah I've already had my months expecting at that time already.... Wasn't anticipating a call anytime soon this year. Just curious of the person I quoted above with his timeframe and what IA.

With Respect, I am confused. You said you sent you docs in 10/18 but also that you have been waiting 8 week. Im not trying to say I gotcha. Im just trying to follow along as we have a similiar time line and I dont want any of us to miss "the call"
