Hand delivered my app to sub-station in early July and my check has still not been cashed. Wondering how long I should wait before reaching out to confirm that my app made it to HQ.

What's the longest we have seen for the check to be cashed?

          Thanks

Inter-office mail in LASD often is MUCH slower than actual USPS. Plus with the load they have, it may take a while to cash it

Quick question. If I changed my job after I submitted my application, do I need to send in an amendment application for that?

re-print my application and hand it off to the local LASD station? In my case City of Industry? Or send another application with a note that there will be a duplicate as the Post Office screwed up?

                    Thoughts?

                    Thanks in advanced!

I sent in my application 8/26 via First Class Certified as many suggested. Unfortunately I find that the package has been looping between the Los Angeles and Santa Facility. As of this evening 9/8, there has been no clarity on where the application is, apparently in limbo “in transit to the next facility.”

Should I just re-print my application and hand it off to the local LASD station? In my case City of Industry? Or send another application with a note that there will be a duplicate as the Post Office screwed up?

I turned in my application to the local sheriff's office the last week of June (2022).

I emailed them today (and got a response) saying they can't confirm receipt of the application yet. Gonna hang tight and keep waiting.

I'll be tracing the money order as well to see if it's been cashed or not.

Yes, TWICE! No progress - history tracking shows that the application is moving back and forth between facilities for some reason I cannot comprehend.

No, they go over that in the interview

That's cool, don't forget to bring the Shooting Proficiency form from the LASD site for them to sign.
