Ugh, I didn't even think about that!! I really hope that is not the case. Still can't believe how long that call is taking. What other docs did they need from you?

They ask for any form of a utility bill as proof of residency since they are not accepting Car Registration as proof of residency anymore. I send them my Electric Bill as proof of residency and hoping they pay for it also

I recently picked up my permit on August 31, 2022. I received an email from the CCW unit doing an audit on my experience with my firearms training. Asking basic questions on experience and knowledge of my instructor and what they covered. Just an FYI, don't know if anyone else received a request like this.

Longtime lurker and had a question I couldn't find the answer to in search. Is it possible to add an extra gun after training approval?

You can add any gun, up to 3 total, that you qualify with at the training.

That's where I'm confused since I've heard conflicting answers:
1.you can only carry what you originally listed
2. When training is completed with an additional gun, instructor will submit paper work and it will be added.

No you can only carry with what you qualify with, they won't amend your permit to add or remove, probably because they're so behind you can add it on when you get your renewal permit.

Once you do your firearms training, you can qualify with a different gun from the one listed on your DOJ application. I can vouch for this, as I qualified with a different handgun than the one I listed. You will be carrying the one that you qualified with.

Actually this just changed. You can now add or remove a handgun onto your permit before renewal. Strange that they changed this considering they are backed-up.
