I had my interview with LAPD back in early October. I was one of the first after Bruen to interview with the city.

I submitted my livescan that same day. The livescan completed all three stages within 17 days. After patiently waiting, I then received a call from LAPD at the end of November informing me that the livescan service submitted the results to the county instead of the city, and that I would have to redo the livescan process.

I resubmitted my lifescan to the city at the end of November. CA cleared the same day, and firearms cleared in 3 days. It has now been over 43 days and I am still waiting on the FBI to clear. WTF...

My timeline is very similar to yours except app submission for me was a month later but got call for interview on 10/25 and interview 11/2 and did livescan same day. Firearms was the slowest to clear on 11/25 and now waiting on the PTT email.

Patiently waiting for my approval and pick up date. I started this process way back in July of 2021. So frustrating as there is no order to the way the applications are processed.

Don't tell me you plan to do that after what we have gone through these past 2 years. For me I would not want to go through dealing with LASD until I really have to when I have to renew my permit.

Unfortunately my upstairs neighbors are making life a living hell, so need to get out of here. Thankfully it is at the same address, just a new unit number

Yes. It's very easy. There's a DOJ Amendment form on the LASD CCW site. Download it; fill it out and email it along with a utility bill showing your new address to the CCW Unit with ADDRESS CHANGE as the subject. They'll reach out to you (it took about 4 weeks) to set an appointment to pick up a new CCW card. There's a $10 fee, cashiers check or money order). The whole pickup process was painless. It took about 5 minutes...

I actually went to firing line in Burbank and walked out an hour into it... The first hour was straight uscca advertising promo with one of their sales people...

I turned right back around and booked with VIP CCW services. Most of it is online via zoom and remaining is the safety portion and firing (in person) obviously
I was very very happy with them. Every chance I get I talk people out of the firing line. If a person doesn't value my time and makes me sit through an hour of advertising sales lecture like a time share they do not deserve my money...

The only thing Burbank class is good for is if you need/want to get it done fast and not have further delays. Otherwise I would not recommend it to anyone.

did you have to take a firearms training class? I can't find a site with full instructions from the AZ site. All the 3rd party sites wants to charge for their online course and their assistance with filling out the forms. I'm just trying to see if I can avoid paying 3rd party and do everything myself.

I sent a color copy of my LA COUNTY certificate, a copy of my LA County CCW and my passport and got the AZ CCW a month or so later. It was insane how quick it was and easy.

My application takes 19+ months to complete. I have a clean record, repeatedly passed OPM background investigations. Feel lucky because a friend applied before me is still in limbo.

19 months for me start to finish. 6/21 - 1/23. Pre-Bruen to post-Bruen and post-Villanueva. I'm grateful he decided to accept more applicants. When I picked it up the Deputy said there have been about 3,000 issued.
