I hate to be a Debbie Downer, but I wouldn't rely too much on SCOTUS. They've already dropped the ball on some no-brainer rulings. The jab mandate for one.

You still pay Kommiefornyastan taxes, yes? Where's your vehicle registered? Your DL should be from your state of residence, kind of like the military. They may be stationed in the PRK, but keep their DL & car registration in their home state. I would think as long as you have the correct docs you should be fine.

The down side of a Texas ID is you lose your CA CCW and the ability to carry in the PRK.

Yeah, there has been noticeable freezing of LG recreational apps; along with longer times over around. Many have commented about this; There seems to be a policy change

Seems like LASD is focusing on red GC mainly. Most of my business-owner buddies got their CCWs, but buddies working for different companies are still in a holding pattern.

One of my buddies who is a firearm instructor moved to OC and get his CCW already. According to him, OC CCW process was much faster and easier than LA CCW.

Lol young blood, you submitted at the end of July....We're barley cracking the June applications.

Also, you submitted to a station where CCW Unit is not located. So a deputy has to take your application and mail it or drive it down to CCW unit in DTLA.

Your application probably didn't make it to CCW until August.
