Sounds good. Make sure you have documentation for all your claims, including value of equipment, and crimes in the area where you are walking.I work for an aerospace company which has multiple government contracts. I usually start work around 4:00am. I leave around 3:30 and walk a good distance to my car. Parking is scarce and I let my gf have the spot in our buildings garage for safety concerns. I almost always carry my top of the line welding gear (speed glass 9100fx adflo) and my work laptop with sensitive ITAR documents, blueprints and information on it. I fear that the monetary value of the items I carry every day both for work and my personal welding projects makes me more of a likely target for violence.
How do you guys feel about this for good cause ? LA county, city of Long BeachI wish today's liberals could understand: You cannot be generous by giving away other peoples' money and you cannot demonstrate your virtue by your willingness to give up other peoples' rights.

Should I mention the crime increase in the neighborhood in my good cause or just attach some articles? I know there has been a string of break ins at night while the occupants are sleeping. Also saw a news Article that gun violence is up over 60% this year in Long Beach.Comment

Any articles about crime in your area are good but your best bet is Crimemapping.com for a very specific map. Crime in your neighborhood by itself in not going to do it. You have to personalize it and show how that combines with something individual to you (such as the value of your equipment) to increase your risk. I have a standing offer to help people with their good cause. If you would like more advice, it's probably best to take this off-line and PM me directly.Should I mention the crime increase in the neighborhood in my good cause or just attach some articles? I understand your situation and frustration. The short answer to your question is that no, you cannot sue the Governor or Sheriff for not issuing or for anything that happens to you as a result. That may actually change next year if we get a favorable ruling in the Bruen case at the Supreme Court. The Sheriff could speed up the process if he devoted more personnel to it, if he adopted a more efficient system, or if he chose to accept "self defense" as good cause.I wish today's liberals could understand: You cannot be generous by giving away other peoples' money and you cannot demonstrate your virtue by your willingness to give up other peoples' rights.

Exactly, plus keep in mind that even if you win in lowest levels, there is the 9th circus where they'll reverse anything that endangers their view of 2A*AZ/UT Permits*
