It should take around 4-6 weeks for the department to receive the official copy and filed. Also make sure your deputy and ccw unit knows your ATI number. Sometimes it may get "lost" and the department is waiting for your number confirmation.

Each deputy works at their own pace and protocol. My deputy wanted to get live scan and training or other required paperwork put the way as soon as possible.

He did put a disclaimer that there is a chance for denial. But he did state that the good cause reason is a most likely approved reason. Hence the reason to get live scan and training out the way to save time. He did also say to email him with the ATI number and training cert so he can out it in the file as well.

I had my interview this morning. It took about 30 minutes with the deputy verifying everything on my application and getting more specifics and details on my GC. At the end of the interview he gave me my Live Scan form and told me to get it done today if possible. He said it is taking 6-8 weeks for the Live Scans. He said I could proceed with my firearms training if I felt comfortable that I would pass my LS. He said if I pass my LS and get my training done it is taking 3-4 months total for issuance.
