My GC is related to my work so they did ask for quite a few thins. I was able to get them all real quick.

I don't have a specific job description letter...just a job title..I'll just bring my performance review ..if they specifically ask for it..I'll have to go to my supervisor and request one...and hopefully it wont stir up anything..I have everything else..I'm a tech..and work with classified materials etc... aerospace industry

I'm sorry to hear about your denial. I've heard that you can try again if the denial was due to your GC. Try talking to Greg Block at Self Defense Firearms Training in Orange County. He may be able to guide you.

I'm guessing this. Not to sound insensitive but if you used words like hood in the ghetto and your GC statement was written in a similar tone as your post above I can see maybe your app wasn't taken seriously. I hope I'm wrong. More context would help.

He posted earlier about his interview being rescheduled so I think its legit.

Cmon man help us help you. Maybe you were denied on a technicality. Fix it and resubmit.

I was asked to bring the same to the interview. During the call to schedule my interview, the deputy asked me what exactly I did for my employer. I'm in IT. He asked specifically if I'm on-call 24/7. I am.

In the email, I was asked to bring a pay stub, work ID and latest performance evaluation. I did.

During the interview, he asked me more questions about my work. Mind you, my GC had nothing to do with my employer. So then he asked me if I could get a letter listing my job duties, specifically that I'm on call. So then he told me that although my current GC was strong, adding the work stuff would make it a guaranteed approval.

So I sent him a revised GC and a letter from my manager indicating the same. One thing I asked is if they would contact my employer. I made it clear that I didn't want my employer to know anything about my CCW or that I own Firearms. He affirmed they would not. I hope he's right.

I'm cool with that. What I'm not cool with is my manager getting a call with mention of CCW or guns.
