I live midwilshire (next door to The Grove) and mine was in Cerritos. The deputy mentioned they TRY to get people to interview at stations near-ish where they live, but there are folks like me that get assigned extremely far away.

That would make sense ...since I'm in Covina ..the nearest office for me is in San Dimas or Walnut Station ...nearest beyond that I think is Cerritos or Whittier...has anybody gotten any interviews from San Dimas...Pomona...Claremont....la Verne..Glendora...east L.A. County yet?...if so what station was your interview at??..I turned my app in on may 10th...so I'm figuring mid July for me..

Dropped my application off at temple city station on March 19. Got interview may 11 at Whittier station. I’m in West Covina.

So a little over or under 2 months..from application submittal .to interview...so far from others posted it's been consistent... hopefully it will stay that way..was your GC..green, yellow or red if you mind me asking...mine is yellow (employer)and light green(recreational)..

I don't think it's staying that way hun, there's more applicants and the same number of deputies conducting interviews.

I wonder if they are delaying the process on purpose..

IIRC back in January they called people who had been denied using Yellow GCs to tell them LASD had broadened acceptable GC to include Yellow and ask if they wanted to reapply and get issued.

I wonder if rather than going through all that again if they are just holding weak GC applications for after July 01?

Just picked up mine today, she confirmed my job title again and took a photo for the license. Also make sure check guns listed and serial number listed on the back, they typed p365 instead p365xl on mine but was able to get it corrected.

What makes you think July 1 will be laxer Gc? Every live video AV has been on he always says he won’t go to shall issue.

Many months ago AV said he MAY liberalize GC further if his budget gets cut further because of Measure J. That may be to weak LG GCs, or to DG Daily Risks or to DG virtual SI (“SD” = GC), or not at all.

We will find out in just over 2 weeks.
