Hmm. Well I got my call yesterday to schedule the interview, and I mailed mine in April 12, so it must have been received April 14 or 15. You should be up today.

UNLESS, as I theorized yesterday, who it is assigned to is determinative of wait time. I'll be doing my interview in Cerritos, for example, because I live in Whittier. Maybe other places are busier?

Maybe, they are divided into different areas. My brothers live in San Fernando Valley area and they haven't got the calls.

It must be this. The lady who called me is also the one interviewing me, and she works out of the Cerritos office it sounds like. So logically, it would follow that though the applications are received in a central location, they are then distributed out to the regional offices based on proximity to where the applicant lives. And those offices maybe aren't all getting an even amount of apps. Some are getting more than others because more people in their area are applying for whatever reason.

All just speculation, but it makes sense.

That would make sense ...since I'm in Covina ..the nearest office for me is in San Dimas or Walnut Station ...nearest beyond that I think is Cerritos or Whittier...has anybody gotten any interviews from San Dimas...Pomona...Claremont....la Verne..Glendora...east L.A. County yet?...if so what station was your interview at??..I turned my app in on may 10th...so I'm figuring mid July for me..
