I submitted my CCW app through LASD (Check was chased on 8/18). Can I apply through my local PD as well through Redondo beach? I just found out they're accepting apps.

LOL, already getting ahead of the game. The process is the same as when you first applied, you just check the "Renewal" box at the top of the application.

Probably will 3-4 months prior to expiration to play it safe. Even COEs are delayed.

I believe you can, and when you're contacted for your interview by LASD, I think just tell them you're withdrawing your app. Not positive though

Picked up today from LASD in Monterey Park.

Included was an approval letter from the undersheriff and a receipt for my initial application check. I forgot when I had initially submitted my app so it was fun (/s) to see that it was dated 15 months ago to the day, today.

Thankfully pick up is Friday. Think I will do the Firing Line in Burbank for training since they take walk ins, and can go Tuesday, so worked out perfectly.

I was also thinking about the Tuesday class, just have to find someone to feed the dog for me.

I spoke to the lady who answered the phone and I get the feeling it's all walk in. She also told me no holster needed, but I might bring one just in case. I haven't gotten my training email yet, but my timeline is pretty close to yours.

Congrats! my live scan completed 7-29-22 so hopefully soon for me, what e-mail did they send it from so I can do a search of all the mail in my junk file? just in case it goes in there thanks!
