Yeah I have two others. I also sent a message to CAFRS I guess to resolve that. I mean the gun they listed doesn't exist.

there is a way on the CFARS website to fix errors on individual guns. One of mine had the wrong number for my street address. Another had the wrong serial number: the original FFL put in the correct numbers, but not the leading letters: US. I was able to fix both, one at a time. Prior to that the gun with the wrong SN could not be approved for the permit. Once the SN was corrected and matched, the gun could go on my permit. All this got sorted out about two months after my interview and Live Scan while waiting for the training invitation. Your situation sounds too late, although they should have picked up the discrepancy like my deputy did. Too bad. That would have been a nice carry option. Straighten out on CFARS and add the gun in two years when you renew.

After reading some successful application for CCW. I have decided to apply next month. Ready for this long journey ahead. Any tips or advice will be helpful.

Best advice would be to apply now, it's going to take about a year or more.

I went into do my Live Scan on 2-24-2022 and still waiting....
-FBI was Completed on 2-25-2022
-CA was Completed on 4-5-2022
-Firearms is still in Process

It has now been 3 months and counting! Anyone else wait over 3 months???

Three years ago, my Utah permit arrived in the mail after no feedback between application and issuance.

Yeah, I had a couple of misdemeanor's on my record that I have had expunged by the courts a couple of years ago. So, my record is now clean and shouldn't have any issues. Unless, they are going back to double check on them.

DUI. No violence/ felonies or nonsense like that. That's why I was able to get it expunged, not to mention in my interview they said it was not a problem as its off my record now. I've already gone through the entire process and the last thing I'm now waiting on is my Live Scan Firearms to Process.

I just suggest a call to the DOJ, thats far too long even with the increased processing times.
