5-12-2022 was my 6th week since my FIREARMS portion cleared live scan and waiting to hear if I get to proceed to training. I wrote my deputy and asked, if possible, to get an update. I got a response this afternoon that my file and live scan returns are pending review. I am so remaining hopeful i get approved.

Yeah, if you were told to proceed with your livescan you shouldn't be too worried. They will ask for for documentation to backup your GC if you haven't provided already.

I got the call for interview. Literally 20 mine after I posted above. Check cashed August 1st. Let the longer wait begin. Light red. Was told to bring in a job description, pictures of my tools for work, and pictures of my forearms that I use on remote locations. Updated after the interview Wed.

very true...theres a few people on calguns that were denied after the livescan was completed...the best bet is a call for training email.

Dropped into Firing line Burbank today. Training done and 3 guns qualified! Now I wait for "proceed to training" email....

Is your GC work related at all? I see you mentioned "some shade of green". Don't mean to sound like a downer, the ccw unit has recently confirmed that any type of recreational reason will not be approved, must be work related. YMMV

Yes. I don't comment much on GC because I just don't know which way it will go. After I get a response, I will let the forum know the result.

Did you get the email or call to doing the training or did you decide to just go.
I started this trip with in a week of you. BG finished end of last month.

I am looking at going and doing the training in a week or to before I have a Match at the end of the month.

Since you have your firearm training done...and you have your Utah permit already done ..use your paperwork and apply for your Arizona and Florida permits while you're waiting..
