No you don't have to be a resident...fill out the packet instructions...along with your qualification sheet and certificate...and a copy of your CCW permit...your training qualification papers and certificate and Calif CCW covers live fire training...which qualifies for live fire training in Arizona...Utah ...and Florida...

I emailed them my certificate of completion and shooting proficiency form last night. Just received an email stating that they received my documents and will contact me when it's time to pick up the permit (up to 4 weeks). It's happening!

Picked up my CCW this morning at Monterey Park location. Deputy was great and the process took about 15 minutes.
Can't believe this process is finally over. Now on to my next mission, losing this fat and getting healthier.
