Had my interview recently...
Part of my cause was that I am an FFL that often carries large amounts of cash to buy entire collections from estates.
I provided the sheriff with a copy of my FFL and COE, a copy of my business license, a copy of bank statements noting the large cash withdrawals of the last 3 years (when I started the business and long before this CCW rush), etc.
The response I received was that "to make my case for cause stronger" that I should provide RECEIPTS for all the firearms purchased and provide PHOTOS of said firearms.
I am not sure where they get off asking for stuff like that. It is a complete overreach. I just need a SCOTUS ruling soon.
