I think if they were only asking about California licenses, they would have added "in California." They were likely not interested in listing out every iteration of different states' concealed weapon license naming scheme and are just referring to such licenses by CCW. I listed all the permits I had and currently am issued, and nobody indicated to me that was improper

Same here. I am a dual-resident and disclosed my other 'CCW'. Didn't seem to make any difference. I could see it just as easily being a positive as a negative.

3 months is definitely way too long. She was like "I do this every day". I feel like it will be done in a week or so. I'll keep you guys updated.

Yes it is 3 months after live scan. I did my live scan on 10/28/21, cleared 11/10/21, and I just got a call from the CCW unit today 2/1/22 informing me to go ahead with training.

No, she told me it takes 3 months for the livescan to complete. I've seen it complete in 7 days. That's why I was a little confused.

Yeah, I was told to do training and everything months ago. Light Red GC. It's better than a denial lol. I did follow up but it's still under eview.

Well, I would not presume to give you advice, but I can tell you what I would do: I would not do the livescan until the Supreme Court issues its opinion in the Bruen case. If they throw out the good cause requirement, then you can go get your livescan and will likely sail through. If you do the livescan now, it is highly likely you will get a rejection. My understanding is that the Deputy will not present it to the Lt for a yes/no decision on good cause until the livescan is received back from the DOJ.

Waiting on the supreme court to issue their ruling on the new york case is only serval months from now. Waiting on Commifornia and the following law suites could take years.... Or our sheriff department will change their policy after the ruling of the supreme court... somewhat like the CCW case out of SD and the 9th Circus serval years ago. That force changes with the orange county CCW policy.
