Hello everyone, this is my first post on the forum. Was wondering if anyone out there would be able to help me review my good cause statement. I believe I fall into the yellow, since it is work related. Thanks in advance for the help. Glad to see LA county issuing these CCW's.

Willing to accept help looking to apply for my CCW. I'm a LA county resident and want to make sure my cause is acceptable and properly articulated. I figured it never hurts to ask the experts

Well fellas, just got my proceed to training email!! Took a little over a month after my Firearms cleared, 9 months total. GC is yellow, work-related.

im on exactly 6 weeks today after the live scan. still the firearms have not cleared. has anybody had to wait 6 weeks and still not having the firearms' portion not clear?

Yeah, it's normal. They are super backed up. The last that we've seen was 5 weeks and about 5 days. Should clear any day now.

You have to be more than willing because it is a longgggg process so it's better to be prepared and be a 100%. My advice would be to go back into the forum and read most of the pages to have a better underdtanding of GC and everything.

Not really a number you can call, they usually call from a restricted number. You can get their email from the LASD website.

They have nothing to do with the livescan results, that is from the DOJ. Calling them is not really going to make it faster.

Your gun selection is finalized when you do your training. Whatever is on your training sheet is what goes on your permit. They must all be registered to you.
