            I would say pretty good odds you wont have it in time, Get to the DMV early and get it done asap.

                When you have something on your record it takes longer to process with the live scan . Trust me I did mine twice

                                    CCW Safe is the best one...I'm glad you're checking out insurance plans.. put aside some money now so when your permit comes...you have your money ready..

                                        Thank you for the response. i would not carry a single minute without insurance, I'm going to look into it. when i took my firearm's training they recommended uscca, im still looking at other options as well.

                                            Both me and my girlfriend...who also has her California CCW...checked out both CCW Safe and uscca...CCW Safe is way better.
