Wow, the tone of those questions show just how clueless the interviewer is about CCW, the process, and the effectively zero risk that permitted carriers pose to the general public, not to mention the complete lack of recognition of a person's right to protect himself.

A very informative post! That's the first news I have seen on their processing capacity at 120/week. I wonder how many applications they receive each week at this point.

Also something he stated that should be noted, he told me they have about 4000 apps in idk if he was being serious or reaching a bit.
He was also happy that I made copies of everything!
He also stated that the 3 deputies (the deputies who will call you for your permit pick up date) who process the apps after the interview are the ones responding to the emails

Shoot. What happened? Did a deputy get mad at someone for training early?

I did my training early and submitted it a month ago now. But my deputy knew I may do that because at the interview I told her I would likely do the training early. She told me she can't ask me to do that because there is still a chance I don't get approved, but that if I want to take the risk, that's my call. She also said if I do it early to email her the confirming docs, which I did on June 26.

I emailed my training certificate and the deputy replied saying that he did not ask me to do my training or send any documentation about it because my file is still not past the review phase. He said don't send it until asked for it. Nothing bad or anything, I guess.

I guess it depends on the deputy. Maybe some are more willing to keep track of your documents and send them in once the next step requires it, and others prefer you to send it to them when the time comes so they can send it up to the next step and they don't have to worry about looking for it.
