I wouldn't say 100% approved yet.. But giving you the go ahead for live scan is a good sign... just go with the flow and you'll find out eventually .

You're welcome! We have very similar timelines and I hope you get notified to proceed with training soon, regardless if you train early or not.

I highly recommend Medic Up...because Ron also teaches Stop the Bleed skills as part of the CCW training and gives each student a trauma kit with tourniquet -- that invaluable life-saving knowledge is a plus.

I'll think on this.. $30 application, $130 livescan and I believe about $150 for training.... Thats a chunk of money to risk.. But i'll consider it.

I have a standing offer to help people with their Good Cause statements.

So a few points before you start. Do not mention protecting the building or any property. The only valid reason for a permit is to protect your life. Also, if your good cause involves carrying at work or to and from work, the issue is likely to come up about if your employer prohibits it. You will probably not get a permit if using it is against your employer's policy. You will need to be prepared to address that issue. Take your best shot at writing it and send it to me in P.M.

My friend mailed in a personal check made out to LASD. Anyone know if that's OK? I told him it should have been usps money order. Thoughts?

I also will help with writing GCs. My services are better than Major Caliber's.

If you want a GC that sounds like JK Rowling herself wrote, PM me. The going rate is $150 per revision.

Do you offer a people a package deal with your writing and butthole bleaching services or are they "a la carte"?

This is how everyone knows MajorCaliber is a business man.

Starting Monday, I will have a package for GC review, mock interview, and ******* bleaching services to prep you for the interview.

Only thing you're going to be missing is a fresh haircut.

                        Personal checks are fine.

                            Update

                            Hi All,

So I mailed my application on 8/1/2021, The Hall of Justice received on 8/2/2021. They just cashed my personal check on 9/10/21. A little relief now that I know they at least cashed my check and put hands on my application.

FYI, they do take personal checks and will cash them so there is really no rule on that. As long as it's cashable, and the funds are there

Many use Cashier's checks or Money Orders simply because they work faster to clear than personal checks
