Pure speculation on my part, but seeing various people's timelines, I'm going to guess that the CCW Unit is prioritizing yellow, light red and dark red good cause over the light green and getting the former group approved and issued first.

My GC is yellow. I work on projects related to national security - aerospace, satellites and just started working w/ EV companies in LA.

Even better, if the Supreme Court gives us Shall Issue in one of the cases it has agreed to review, can you imagine that flood--Biblical. Even jurisdictions doing their best to comply will be swamped beyond belief, and those that are intentionally obstructive will respond by cutting the CCW staff time down to 1 guy working on alternate Tuesday afternoons. Similar tricks have been tried in the past. Imagine the San Francisco Sheriff. What would he NOT do in order to avoid issuing? If the SC really wants us to get our rights in that event, they are going to have to specify a time limit, like 90 or 120 days within which they MUST ISSUE a permit unless they can demonstrate why you are prohibited or else it will be excuse after excuse for not issuing. Even Sheriffs who want to comply need to do some thinking ahead about how their systems are going to respond if the decision comes down that way.
