I think their pause in issuing put them much further behind schedule than we anticipated. LASD is not one to make up time by getting better, but lose time for resisting change.

I just got my call this afternoon! My scheduled pickup date will be just 1-day shy of a 2-year wait. I hope ya'll will have some good news rolling in soon as well.
