That is weird that you submitted your documents in December and haven't had your interview yet.

Just a heads up for anyone wanting to add a firearm that wasn't on your original application. Have your serial numbers handy (up to three) and they'll add them to your list.

The Deputy that interviewed me told me the same thing. I had the SN ready, but he said he will send me a generic email to reply with the SN through there. He then proceeded to look up something on his end and said "man you have a sh*t ton of guns" and then laughed.

Replied back to his email and got a received response shortly after.

Is that only true if you originally listed less than 3?

Finally had my interview today. I sent an email last night explaining the situation, and requested that the investigator (I knew her name so I included that in the email) contact me since I knew of a few people who had been requested to provide additional documents after me, but their interviews before me. Sure enough, got the call this morning. My documents were lost too. Replied to her email with the requested documents after the interview, and now good to go. So it's finally sorted out and moving forward again.

Damn! Good for you for calling and not waiting any longer. Glad they prioritized your application.

Picked up the other day, quick and easy, I showed up early and had to wait for my time to get in, I recommend showing up 10 min early at most. They’re going non stop and working off a list in order.

I’ve missed a few calls from blocked numbers and now I’m on the road traveling and its likely that I will miss incoming calls for the next two weeks. How many times will they try to reach me? Will they give up? It seems they don’t like leaving voicemails.

Sounds like it depends on the person handling it

When the deputy called me it showed the whole number with (213) area code coming from Montebello, CA. That's if we are discussing about calls for interview, but then I guess it can vary depending on which deputy calls.

Maybe you can email them and explain your situation. You can also ask if the attempted to call you.

Has anyone received a Proceed to Training since being interviewed in 2024? Had my interview 1/25/2024; but waiting for my P2T email. Just trying to gauge the wait time for that.
