Do you mind sharing when your check was cashed/if you applied in-person?

I applied the day after you (6/24/2022) sent to LASD via USPS but check wasn't cashed until 9/16/2022 and then a subsequent call to LASD on 11/08/2022 confirmed I'm in the queue...haven't heard a peep from them since. Coming up on a full year since mailing my app with virtually no progress.

Curious why our timelines are so drastically different.

I believe it was cashed in October 2022 and I applied in person at the hall of justice in DTLA

Same, yesterday 06/15 was when I mailed. This upcoming 18th will be when they received it.

June 2022- Applies day of Bruen decision
Feb 2023- Call for interview
March 2023- interview at Sherman Headquarters
June 2023- PTT email and submitted

No confirmation email is sent to you
Called the CCW unit and they verified it was there and advised next contact will be when my file is complete and pickup date for my CCW

For you all waiting the PTT email timeline is looking to be about 3-4 months
I know all of us are trying to get status inquiries about it but try to not call them if you haven?t done your interview that way it allows them to process the applications faster

According to the data if your check was cashed in Oct of 22 you shouldnt even have received your interview call yet.

Well that?s exactly how it happened I have my email for my interview and also my email for my permission to train

All legitimate also sheriff said my background would help with the process as well

Has anyone else had to wait 12 months (next week) to hear anything after dropping off an application. I submitted my application 6/24/22 and have had zero correspondence since then.

Yes, me and probably thousands of others that applied just after Bruin. That slug of applications all hit at once...if your app got processed the next day or months later is just the luck of the draw.

This worries me. I sent it the day after the decision and I haven't got my call for interview. Maybe I should call them.

Sorry Dan as CA2AZ explained it well. Zoom was a cinch and the hour sitting at the range class was ok. More so the instructor was very cool

20 minutes in and out. Basically went over the application and 20-30 yes or no questions. Officer said it should be 3 months for the livescan to be completed and sent to them. Although i did provide a good cause statement, we didn't discuss at all. Fingers crossed.

Also, I noticed your sig... the payment didnt get cashed until 02/23 when the app was received in 06/22?

Officer said 3-6 months. 3 months if no issues arise from LS and up to 6 months if there are questionable results.
My payment took forever to clear. I was calling Chase bank every month for 6 months and finally gave up

The deputy that interviewed me back in March said it was 3-6 months before the under-sheriff will sign off the application. From there that's when you receive your PTT. My livescan was completed before my interview.

Hey guys, I submitted my training docs 14 days ago and haven't received any confirmation of receipt. I have missed a call that came through as spam as I've been getting a lot of those lately and they tend to auto-silence. Do you guys think I should resend the email?
