Well those other shops are wrong, too bad for them come audit time ..I bet it's one of the easy violations that DOJ will look for!

FSC

Got my FSC today.Basically the same as HSC. Be prepared for the rigorous testing and safe handling demonstration. $25. tax.

Logged on to the new system and was easily able to update my user info and password, download all forms and tests, manual..., and issue a certificate. Users can save several applications in a cart, pay once, and then download and print the certs. The hubby took the test (100%!!!!), successfully completed the safety demo, and paid the fee. His cert is #15 and good until 1/1/2020.

So far, so good. DOJ just rolled over my HSC cert and qualification.

Are we supposed to be keeping the top half of the print out?

I am keeping both the hard copy of the top and the hard copy of the answer key. Additionally, I am keeping an e copy of both the cert and answer doc. That way I'm covered.

If I have the ecopy of the cert, I can reprint in case of loss too.

Has anyone found a way to prepay for multi cards at once and then be able to issue them later. It's a PITA to keep entering payment info.

The manual recommends it be printed on card stock. What size is it...business or post card?

I don't see how you could get that to print on precut card stock. Maybe blank card stock. You are going to get a half sheet then a little card like thing under that. I am sticking to normal paper.

They used to pay for the printing and the cost of the card stock, so if they want me to do their job for them, then they can pay me to do so.

I saw that the re-printing costs $5, yet they do nothing for that.

I wasn't thinking of the state I was thinking of the customer. It's supposed to last five years. I'm not going to jump through hoops to do it though.

They can laminate it if they want it to last. It is going to be a pain as is since you can not print out the certificates UNTIL you PAY, which is going to make the process more painful than in the past.

So how exactly do we prepay????? If we have to enter our card info each time we issue a cert, this doesn't add up to prepay. Anybody buy more than one yet???

Reprinting will still cost 15.00 to my customer. Since I am having to do the states work on a reprint, the old fee is still the fee the customer pays.
