    Question my pick up was yesterday so emailed gunshop and was told to go in there was no delays so I drive 30miles one way and then I am told it’s pending so after telling them that is why I emailed I was told they needed to see my ID in order to check so when I asked if I would get an email or call when pick up was ready they said no I have to drive in again to check my status wtf is that true they really have to see my ID that was 6miles back and forth for nothing

        Yeah the guy pissed me off told him you guys could have called me he said no you have to be here for us to check I flashed my ID never did he even touch it even if they have to verify it cannot be picked up without proper paperwork either way

                I still don't see why they can't call you though. I mean the number you gave you signed on the DROS under penalty of perjury is yours. If they can't trust you're on the other end of the phone I don't know why they'd bother asking you for it anyway. (Or maybe they didn't since an optional field)

                  I hate FFL's like that. My FFL is/was running their pending transactions several times a day for customers and calling/texting customers when they cleared. Guess thats why I have been doing business with them for 40 years.

                    FYI, I was supposed to pick up a gun yesterday.

                    Earliest date of delivery was 4/14 2:45PM and I called around 3PM. I was told the status showed as DELAYED and I was told to check back on Friday 4/17.

                      In case folks haven't seen it, here's a pre-litigation letter about exactly this issue, from the FPC to CA DOJ. They asked for a response by today or they will start more litigation.



                      I'm interested to see what happens.

                            FPC did their job. After an additional 3 days, new “toy” is out of jail and home safe lol.

                                I will call tomorrow and see what they say it was a ppt not a new purchase and I had a ppt about a month ago and everything went smooth but before all this crap happened
