That would be a gray area. No additional fees can be charged during the waiting period, but the waiting period is 10 days. This is a delay in approval which exceeds the waiting period. The CA DOJ would need to rule on that to really know and that could go either way.

Is the FFL saying that they are going to charge? While there is chance that they could, it really seems like it would be a bad idea to do so when the firearms can't be delivered.

FFL wants to charge $50, I wasn't aware of any storage fees until I called him up today and was told about it.

I would think he will lose a bit of business with that kind of customer non-service.

That's insane, do people not realize that they need to be business after this is over and they can't lose all their customers? Who would charge a customer because of doj bs. I bet he won't deliver on undetermined either, and charges a restocking fee for it

Wouldn’t it be nice if, not only did the buyers submit charges to the DOJ for the cost of multiple trips to the FFL for DROS still pending after 10 days but also for the FFLs to request storage fees from the DOJ?

Wonder how that would fly
