    A psychology teacher talking about our respiratory system?
    I guess you, and evidently they, didn't know that THC is a known bronchodilator, as in its good for preventing asthma attacks, it opens up the airways.

    Symptoms

    * Airways and lungs
    o Difficulty breathing
    o Gasping for breath
    o No breathing
    * Bladder and kidneys
    o No urine output
    * Eyes, ears, nose, and throat
    o Blurred vision
    o Dilated pupils
    * Heart and blood vessels
    o High blood pressure, which then leads to low blood pressure
    o Rapid heartbeat
    * Nervous system
    o Chills
    o Coma
    o Convulsions
    o Fever
    o Irritability
    o Nervousness
    o Tingling of hands and feet
    o Tremor
    * Skin
    o Blue lips and fingernails
    * Stomach and intestines
    o Nausea
    o Vomiting

      No.

      Because for every 100 cops out there doing there job, the 3 jackasses that mess up get on TV, not the cops saving lives. I know I won't be presented with a fair account of police. As such police should understand their job is to take care of the negative people in society, not the positives. Therefore they should not be shocked when they see bad ****.

      So if you want to perceive all marijuana users as losers with no lives so be it. But don't be angry when your treated in kind based off your co-workers actions.
      Every day you read about police brutality? Really? Every day? You must be reading about the cops in 3rd world countries because I watch the news and read the morning reports every day and I don't see it here in the USA on a daily basis! Maybe you can post up each days news story about police brutality.

        Funny how you advocates will justify marijuana any way you can for medical purposes when the truth of the matter is you use medicinal as an excuse and abuse the title. There are those who do benefit, and most who don't, yet hide behind the whole medicinal thing.

          Of course not. But many are and even more are just lost soles without any drive to improve themselves.

          Interesting way to talk about our founding fathers...

          I'll bet you have never actually seen in person any "police brutality". You have probably seen video's . But If you have seen even one police use of force I would be surprised.

          I have experienced it first hand. I've had my shoulder dislocated, I've had my 5 week healed fractured foot re-fractured. I've ****ing lived it and I got the god damn damage to prove it.

          No generalization. Just observations after 30 years of seeing many many marijuana users with wasted broken and unproductive lives.

          Once again you deal with criminals, not outstanding members of society. What'd you expect to see?

          You can't blame a piece of metal. It did not act on it's own.

          The DRUG DEALER died because one of his DRUG BUYING so called friends killed him so he could take his HARMLESS marijuana.
          So marijuana is harmless? Then it too did not act on its own. Therefore its the users fault.

          Ok so exaggerated, you still never responded to my main point:

          Every student I know at my college has at least had a cop abuse their powers once on them.
          The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.

            Criminals smoke weed too, just like they also have guns. Does that mean all people with guns are criminals?

            the same can be said about alcoholics? or rx drug poppers? anything in excess is bad....

            Again, you seem to ignore the fact that the black market created by it illegality is what causes incedents of this nature.

                Ok lets look at this from a different prospective.

                Lets say it doesnt have any medicinal effects, the queen of england didnt use it for mentrual pains, it wasnt bottled as medicine in early america.

                Alcohol has no medicinal benifits either, right?

                So how many people a year die from alcohol related incidents?

                So how different are alcohol and cannibis?

                Hopps and cannibis are very related and both plants right? Why is one ok and the other isnt? Look it up hopps and cannibis are cusins in the plant world.

                They both have the power to ruin lives as anything does, again look at horders.

                Alcohol block the receptors in the brain blocking electrical ativity, basically reverting us to neanderthals. Sex, food, fight. Primitive.

                but thats ok, as long as we dont inhale a plant and become sleepy, hungry, or happy.

                The bottom line is that if something so distructive as alcohol is legal, then a much less harmful substance should be too.

                EVEN IF ALCOHOL< TABACCO<CANNIBIS WHERE ALL EQUALLY DISTRUCTIVE WHY ARE TWO LEGAL AND ONE NOT?

                    How does cannibis have the same harmful chemicals as tabacco? was its sprayed with pesitcides and radio active chemicals? rat poison? etc. Like tabacco does? legally?

                          If Marijuana was legal i would assume that would reduce violent crimes wouldn't it? Last time i checked, i don't think anybody resisted arrest or ran away from a Police Helicopter stoned from Pot. In theory wouldn't a society that is allowed to smoke pot, be more docile and easier to manage? If you take away prohibition their wouldn't be any violent crimes attributed towards Marijuana if you just could go pick it up at your local Rite Aid, or Wall-greens. All the corporations would control the market value, thus forcing any drug dealers to close up shop.. The Law made in the 30's is a racist and bigot law , that was used to attach a certain stigma against Hispanics and Blacks. Stating that any White Woman were to associate with Mexicans or Black's that they would be raped against their will. It was spread by William Randolph Hearst and his newspaper tycoon. And the political stance on it has constantly evolved from the original logic... Alcohol results in far more issues, every 21 minutes their is a DUI related accident on a national level due to Alcohol. Not to mention Domestic Family fights, and bar-fights. The worst that could happen with pot, is that you could be stuck on the couch for awhile and eventually get hungry. I don't understand its fine to drink Fermented Yeast and destroy your liver and stomach, but pot isn't??? Hmmmm what strange reasoning.....

                            Its easier to keep the funding LEO's have fighting againts marijuana.

                            The fight is also a lot easier. Not as dangerious as busting into meth lab.

                                That is totally false! Most big city home invasions and drug related shooting are over marijuana. This is something I know from personal experience as an investigator. There are rarely Meth lab shootings if any! That is for obvious reasons!

                                Meth labs are far more dangerous as far as the toxic chemicals involved in the production of meth. BUT, I have been into many hazardous indoor marijuana grows that are nearly as bad with extreme hazards such as bobbie traps, toxic mold, dangerous electrical, and armed gatekeepers!!

                                Most LEO's and jurisdictions in California do not want to dealw ith the marijuana issue. In fact, most cops look the other way and do nothing about marijuana if legal prop 215 paperwork is in play. I look past marijuana every single work day, because I enforce the law. But if jerkhole pot dealer is hiding behind the FAKE physicians recommendation and dealing to make cash out of compliance, they are going to jail. WHY? because the whole medicinal thing is mostly a sham to hide behind a law and make millions. IF you are going to legalize it, then get in the parade and make it happen for real! Lets be like AMsertdam!
