I just received the Hard Edge knives Kwaiken. Awesome knife. Beautiful knife. Amazing epoxied wrap handle over lizard and English Walnut + great snappy thumb-break kydex. 3/16" 1095 steel. Epoxied wrap locks into your grip like sand paper but more comfortable.

Hi group! It has been 12 days since my last knife purchase. My Hans have strange twitches towards purchase buttons. I don't know how my phone keeps navigating to knife sites. I feel like I'm losing control and will purchase something big in the next few days.

Has anyone ever had issue buying from mineral mountain when paying with paypal?

I am getting this message:

I've never seen anything like that. I bought a few via EBAY and sent PayPal to Barry's address mostly. Always through the family though. A few were one-offs so they were not on the website. I bought one from the actual website and it went smooth as well, just a slightly longer delay to finish and ship the blade I assume, but not 3 weeks. More like one week till it was shipped. Pretty weird, but I'm sure just a delay for you. I'd really like to score a Persian before the sale ends but we'll see what damage Busse does to the bank account in the next few months. I still think the Pig Trail is the screaming deal of the bunch.

It wasn't until I finally had enough of her talking in circles and demanded she tell me what was up. I asked her point blank why is the USGOV interested in what I buy? She said it wasn't about me but was on his end.

My wife could hear the conversation and afterwards says to me what have you done to get on the governments watch list? I told her no clue as I am a nobody.

Update: Not happy with the answers I got last night I called paypal back this morning and am being told that OFAC is reviewing this transaction and is going to contact me within 48 hours. OFAC stands for Office of Foreign Asset Control. Not sure why a knife make in Arkansas is being looked at but this is some weird shiet.

Not really IMHO. PayPal does some pretty silly stuff and doesn't protect its users. I'm sure it is some wild goose chase and waste of tax dollars as usual.

Just got an email from PayPal saying transaction has been approved and funds transferred. What a complete load of Cr ap.

This is getting crazier by the minute. So paypal sends me an email saying the transaction has been completed then a bit later i get notified that OFAC has instructed Paypal to refund me my money and not let the transaction take place. So now My money is in limbo for at least a week. And i have to try and figure out another way to pay for this knife i want to buy. This is some bizarre ****.

Finally got my order placed with MMHW for the Persian Fighter. Can't wait to get that one. It will be my first special order type knife.
