I've been eyeing a knife from a company I've never heard of before. It's the 6.5" Model 451 from Freeman Knives. Saw it on a video from Chris Tanner at Bladeshow. Seems like its well made with good materials here in the USA and comes with a Spec-Ops sheath. Lots of blade and handle color options as well. Here's their website: https://www.freemanoutdoorgear.com/p...el-451-chopper

Their 5.5" model doesn't look bad either...

You got it. 12 inch tanto, nice balance, it was on sale when I bought it and first night dropped it on my foot ( see attached ) and had to go emergency room. Couldn't walk for 7 days. So, the knife works for sure.

Yeah I saw that. Some of their knives are made from D2 and S35VN but....LSS PGK? That's a new one to me.

These sheaths are now actually shipping. Only the Footlong in Multicam for now (up to 11" blades)... but other models will follow. The 8" version should be a nice universal option just like SPEC OPS have been.

I'm thinking for an SYKCO 1111 or Trash2 these will work great. Trying to talk him into making a 2.5" wide liner / 13.5" for a BB13.

The guys on Reddit said it may work on ammo. You may need to play around with the cart to get the discount. Just wanted to share. Carry on.

Edit: It will work for Magpul products.
Scored a Cold Steel Rawless Voyager XL for ~ $60

The ZT 0452 or new 0450 in carbon are tempting too.

Right? But I don't think that one worked with the code. Unless you add something not on sale or clearance.

Not sure, midway is always a little funky with their codes. I had some other stuff in my cart that qualified, so I threw in the Voyager and some bags I've been wanting.

The code worked as far as the total was discounted and showed the $105.86 total, but I didn't finalize the order... I have a PM2 and one is enough. I'd grab a Yojimbo2 or the folding cleaver first. I did have a $3 1911 wrench in the cart, but removed it before the code was added. Great discount.

Mineral Mountain Hatchet Works has a markdown sale going on with some great deals if you like their stuff (which is all tougher than nails parked 5160 that is typically .25" thick stock with canvas micarta scales - usually, nice visible hamons too and always a great heat treat). Fit and finish is great too no matter what Ted says about them being working blades that are rough and tough. They are gorgeous to me with perfect grinds. At these prices, try one if you have been wanting to.

This is the "small" Pig Trail Bowie (.25" thick 8" blade - 14" OAL with kydex)
$120 - that's cheaper than the blanks he sells.

It is on-topic too, since I ordered that one Bull Noser and Brush Puppy are pretty awesome choices as well.

I got a couple of Lost Mountain Iron Works sheaths. These are the new production Footlongs. One is 3/16th and the other a 1/4" kydex insert... so my tan 1111 has a sheath now, but the 1/4" fits the Dog Father and Mountainmandu perfectly also (only others I tested)... hopefully I get a big 3/16" blade soon

                                Back of the sheath...

When these were out of production people were paying $250 for them on the secondary market. These are really nice.
