BUT Kryptek... cool. That was one I liked but never bought. I think I grabbed a 757 Vicker instead, then later almost traded it for an ADAMAS and kind of settled on a Contego M4 as my BM beastly knife. I bet they are cool.

Dammit... I had to look that 6031 up and saw they have a 6030 with a bowie blade. I think I have to have it.

The 3 cheap Kershaw Emersons that I own (4KXL, 6K and 8K) are just as "functional" IMO as the ZT0620 that I also own. Blade steel and construction of the ZT is obviously better but, since I never really plan to "use" them in any way beyond self defense carry, it really doesn't matter.

Bought a Skyline because it was well reviewed and because I liked the design but the one I got was so off center that I had to return it and have not bought another.

Yeah I paid $31 shipped for the bowie tip... Got rid of my two Kershaw Emerson’s but I will keep this one if it is as smooth with decent detent like the other two... only waver I have now is the CS Talwar. Sold my 711 with bowie tip for $285 today so i’m mostly selling stuff still.

Got that "bargain" priced SPEC-OPS 6" max Combat Master sheath from Amazon - $36. Was able to make my 6.5 flat ground Regulator to fit in it by removing the velcro'd in insert and drilling out one of the bottom rivets to allow it to go in further. Blade is still completely covered by the insert so no stab through.

Freed up the 8" sheath .

Actually, automatics are legal to own and possess in CA but you cannot legally carry them unless less they are less than 2" long.

A Gerber single bladed push knife w/a sheath on a neck strap called the "Ghostrike Punch Knife" that I bought at Sportsman's Warehouse in Stockton.




Have been looking for a push knife for some time but this the 1st one I've seen anywhere, including gun shows where you'd think they'd be prevalent.

Mentioned this to a knife dealer & asked him why push knives were so scarce and if they were now illegal to carry. He didn't know.

Anyone here have an explanation?

Any concealed fixed blade (including an ice pick or screw driver ect.) is illegal in CA.

Because push knives are illegal when concealed, I'm thinking of buying a 2" CA legal switch blade to wear concealed around my neck in a custom kydex.

Serves almost the same for self defense, is legal, and readily deploy-able.

Something like this is considered a concealable pocket knife.

There is a SWEEET Hinderer XM18 3.5 bowie tip folder on the Exchange right now for $335 with two scales (OD CANVAS and a translucent)... optional matched titanium scale too. No trades or I'd be asking. I know not everyone likes original Hinderer. Some might prefer a production copy, and some might prefer a knock-off of a production copy. Go figure.

There is someone selling two ZT 0562's also. One is $150 the other $180 - both look new. One is CF.

You definitely want to buy a Gen 6 not a previous Gen. You may see some deals for previous Gens because the Gen 6 is a game changer. Night and day difference in the flipping action.
