If I used it for anything, it would be for camping or hunting where I think it would be best suited but there are other much cheaper altneratives available for such use.
One of the best things about folder is you can have a shelf with a few or a dozen and pick one each day to pocket and use all day when you need a knife. You can leave one in the car and one in a pen cup and one in the bathroom drawer.... I mean, I have a nice Scrapyard teklok'd in its thumb-break sheath, handle-up on my cargo net in my car trunk too, but folders are easier to use in everyday city life.

Don't underestimate how easy it is to snap a cheapo folder in two or dull a blade of cheapo steel before you are done using it either. If you buy a ZT it might not be the best collector's item, but it is probably the best bang for the buck using it for various things. IMHO. My $130 0804CF is a perfect user. Gorgeous too. My 0909 looks like it has been chopping rocks lately.

Yup, whatever makes it fun for you. Just sayin if you put 5k into Busse, ya might get 8k out of them when you get tired of storing them

Well that's when you snap the pics to show us a few examples for scale and comparison. You don't always get to see different knives together unless it is in a collection.

There ya go. The guy likes Skylines and PM2's... needs more BLURS.

I think my first Kershaw was a Vapor II or III... like one of those pictured.

              Nice ZT row.

You can do better, SGT. Need an IMGUR lesson?

I thought you liked polished blades. Yeah the Military is cool. I never got one. Considered a partial trade for one for a Busse, but I think they are tip down only and I like the Spyderco compression lock, but not crazy about their liner locks. I do have a Green Tenacious in a car as a backup or spare blade, gave away my Resilience or whatever the larger one is called. Never warmed up to the Manix locks either. I have a mint S110V Manix2 FRN lightweight I'd trade for something. I said it before, get a Centofante III

You like big blades, get a Cold Steel large Luzon... smooth flipper, can be waved easy as-is, nice open lock switch. For a street price of $30ish from Optics Planet... ZERO blade wobble really surprised me. Perfect grind, totally mediocre steel... but some people would tell you VG10 is too.

I'll bet you start using some of those ZT's when you realize how great they are.

Got the Luzon in 4" but am not buying anything w/6" blades. Have a couple of fixed blade knives that are 6'+ but they're not anything that I'd carry or collect.

I just saw a nice looking ZT 0452CF going for around $125 with 20 minutes left on EBAY... that's a nice 4.5 ounce 4.1" blade... IIRC, 4.5 ounce I could be wrong. I like mine, but overall that new 0804CF is more useable... thinner between the scales, wider, better shaped 3.9" blade IMHO, much more forgiving detent/lockbar geometry. Just like the 0801 it is nearly impossible to squeeze the framelock enough to inhibit deploying. I love the 0801 and the 0804 is a better version. Great slicer too, and that tip just bites right into tape and cardboard.

My PM2 is a black blade, with the digi camo. OK, knife IMHO. Not the holy grail like some people think it is - it is all preference. PM2's slice better than most anything, but fragile tips, kind of clunky.

Have no idea, that's a tough one to get I think. Offer low and then work up if counter offered by seller. I'd go $175 and see what he does if you mean the one on EBAY. If it is in your range take the counter. There are two and one is serrated. Basically that's what I did with the 0804CF, but the seller just took the low offer, no counter. 0804CF is different case though (far superior knife IMHO and also one that got canned like tuna... so no telling what the seller bought it for, but my price was damn good as I have wanted that one since it got announced. Have fun with your fat Onions, hahah.

If she lives with you and sees all those packages arriving for YOU and doesn't get pissed, she might be a keeper. Otherwise my advice is to make sure she gets something in the mail once in a while or hide those, hahah.

Spyderco has a couple flippers coming out they have unobtrusive “flippers” that are like Bic lighter rollers... just the side of the blade but rounded and gimped... looks like a winning design.

FSH looks pretty good with all options... I'd even take a base model, hahah. Nice. Passing, but just saying sometimes CBT looks great.

Pretty pricey for flippers at $250 - $485. Will pass on those until I can find one used for a lot less.
NO. They are new ones. Not available yet AFAIK. You can see all those have a typical flipper when closed.

The non-flipper Drunken Sinkevich is for sale already... ouch. Made in Taiwan, MSRP $630
