I've spent more $ at turners and have done more ppt s there than I can remember without a single issue.

Remember- when you point your finger at someone else you have three pointed right back at you...

Turners is the LAST place I go for something. My email to them suggested (in a professional manner)having something similar to a "You know what the hell you want Buy It Now line" and a line for people who want to play with guns and ask questions and talk to the overly chatty know it all behind the counter.

the one in Hawthorne is pretty ****ty. I can't complain though because all the times I've been there has been some dumbass little kid either talking about call of duty, or trying to impress a girl. either that or some gangster *** dude talking **** with his friends about how "tight" a specific "piece" is...

Anyone know how many turners bashing threads there are? I'm sure there is enough for all of us to know what to expect from them, with that being said we should be thankful we have guns stores to sell so us. I say suck it up!

Sometimes the store is not to blame but the idiot behind the counter should be the one to hold accountable. I received the same response from other gun store too (up to 40 handgun DROS, I got a few bad experiences)

It was crowded. The guy demonstrated the handgun safety and instructed me to point the muzzle to the wall as he turned around and point the muzzle to the wall. And not to laser everyone else around me. Well no **** Sherlock but idiot was in front of me and blocked that wall. Move the **** out of the way. I was surrounded with customers and with that idiot. LOL.

I will never suck up being disrespected by a retailer or feel like I should be privileged to give a business my money. I have enough guns and ammo to last several lifetimes already. As long as guns are legal there will be CA gunshops open to sell them. A bashing thread on CGN does not change that. People tend to forget how small CGN actually is as opposed to all gun owners in CA.

I have had nothing but good experiences at the Pasadena location. They are very thorough about their safety demonstrations and I've seen them reiterate the importance of keeping guns pointed in a safe direction, which I don't think can be emphasized enough.
I was there yesterday and saw one of the managers administer a safe handling demonstration to a man who I believe may have had arthritis or low strength in his hands. The Turner's employee was very patient and helpful in making suggestions to help the man. I have seen several instances of the same at this store, especially with women and new gun owners.
I know we hate the idea of the mandated safety demonstration, but don't hate on stores that take it seriously.
