Bought guns from San Bernardino, Covina, Corona, Orange, Chino, former Riverside store, and the clerks have been great. Their weekly ads leave a lot to be desired though.

I go to the San Marcos Turners for basically one reason. The check out girl. I don't know if she still works there since I haven't been in about 4 months but she is so dorky and clumsy I can't help but think naughty things when she's swiping my card. Most the dudes behind the counter are douche bag/military know it alls. If only had one employee there actually act like he cares about my customer satisfaction.Comment

Thankfully Turners hasn't infested NorCal yet. You guys can keep them down there, we don't mind.Former political prisoner who escaped on 9-24-23.Comment

The guys at the turners in orange have always been cool with me, Also I have yet to find any other store that can beat turners prices on any gun I have ever bought. Even if the guys there were PITAs I would just ignore them and buy my gun anyway because i`m not going to go somewhere else and spend an extra $100 or more on the same gun.Comment

This is how I feel now when I have the misfortune of walking into a Turner's:

A discussion about art or fashion trends? The newest and best musical on Broadway?
They're more likely to talk about the fine lines of a Beretta for art and the next Tacticool vest for fashion.
It goes with the territory and I am merely stating facts- not my intention to put anyone down!
I am out of this thread.Last edited by ifilef; 08-27-2014, 10:09 PM.Comment

I had a similar situation with ONE of the Turners, I basically told him to be disrespectful towards me again and he was going to be in trouble.
First, last and only problem I ever had at Turners. Turners in San Bernardino has great service, Rancho isn't bad. But SB Turners have treated me well.Comment

My wife jokes that Turner's in Orange is my girlfriend. The staff there has always been great to me. Hard to imagine a more helpful, friendly and humble gun salesman than Fred, but the whole staff is friendly and helpful...
(I do go there a lot and know most by name)
Grant's is the only place I've ever been treated poorly.Last edited by Webologist; 08-28-2014, 8:13 AM.sigpicComment

The guy that bugged me was an older bald guy with glasses. The Tacticool guys, not so much.
I went in there to buy a short-barreled pump a few years ago. The bald guy was so full of himself, I left without buying a thing. Bought my Mossberg 500 the next day from B5 in Chino. Saved a few $ and got noting but courtesy and respect from the gun dept. mgr. He knew more about SG's than most of the LGS's in my area.
I also believe in voting with my wallet.
