That's a generalization. You discriminate thin people.

    Move on.

      I kidd.

Dude...just get over it and move on.
But my discrimination is reasonable lol.. getting tatts is a form of art, its expression. Smoking meth and getting pregnant at 16 is just wrong.

They're more widely accepted but just because soccer moms and movie stars are getting sleeved up doesn't mean the prejudice is gone.

Be happy that the guy exposed himself and you didn't hand him your hard earned dough.

Maybe showing respect to fellow gun owners would be a better way to go about it.

As someone pointed out earlier, your average gangbanger isnt going to be buying rimfire ammo on armslist.

Wow...that is a really good price. I just order 500 rounds of 9mm from Freedom Munitions (115gr round nose, new ammo, not reloads) for $138.97.

I'll say just ignore stuff like this, they are free to express their opinions and in this case, did not refuse to do business with you. Heck, at that price he can go ahead and call me a gangster if he wants, just sell me the ammo.

                      OP,

You sound like a nice guy.

Count your blessing that this incident would even bother you.

Life is good. People have been decent to you.

                      Be grateful.

                        OK.

You and I are demonstrating the repeating cycle that always happens with youth and behavior/fashion/music/etc. Every generation tries to shock and outdo the previous one. Sometimes it happens so fast that one generation (yours for example) isn't even aware of the fact that the previous generation did what you now view as normal, specifically to "be bad", because the previous generation before that only knew that thing as bad.

Gen 1 - gang tats are bad. Gen 2 - get's gang tats to piss off their parents, or appear bad/tough/cool. Gen 3 - gets tats because it's just normal. I'm in Gen 1 and you're in Gen 3 in this scenario.

Are you aware of the fact that it was only just a few years ago that ONLY gang members tattooed their necks, and that ONLY gang members tattooed their area code, specifically as a gang sign? Maybe it's been ten years. But until enough normal kids do this stuff for long enough, you will unfortunately be prejudged negatively for such tattoos in most social circles.

Why do you dress in a way that makes others question you from a first impression? Your clearly aware your appearance throws some people off. Why not dress like the person you claim to be? When I was younger I dressed like a punk white kid. As I got older I wanted to look like the person I wanted to be.

Your appearance is all a person has to go off of in first impressions. It tells them who you are. You dress nicer for job interviews right?

To dress "thuggish" and then be upset that someone thought you were a thug is bassically saying "I'm a thug, I do thug stuff" then get upset that they heard you and now dont like you.

                                You: I'm a thug

                                Him: I don't like you

                                You: why not?

Him: You JUST told me your a thug, why would I want anything to do with you?

You: when did I say that?

Him: when you showed up in thug clothes.

Your telling people about yourself with your clothes...
