If you are worried about the hairs coming off the brush, apply some glue at the bristle base To help hold them in.

Have you used it on the face of a stainless revolver cylinder?

Yes exactly, the hairs on the brush were coming off easily and getting stuck all over. I have not tried it on a revolver.

I use Frog Lube on my leatherman as well. What was once a stiff action opening blades, pliers etc, is now super smooth and easy!

I assume you heated the leatherman up?

I have to admit I got lazy and never heat applied frog lube to my CZs. Just applied it cold and have been doing so. Still works great.

My AR I heated up and applied as recommended. Running smooth.

Stuff works great! I have it on my wasr10-63, kimber pro carry and HK USP. Everything wipes off easily even after shooting the cheap surplus ammo, the cleaning was easy.

I actually went into the gun store to pick up a bottle of the gunslick ultralube because that has been my favorite product - but they were out. I noticed the froglube display and talked to the counter people at the store... didn't know much about it but they liked it. I decided after all I have heard on calguns and such, that I would give it a go... WAIT... $17 for a bottle? wow!
I got it anyway. and after using it on my ar-15s, i am very impressed. it stays in place, which is kind of weird for the liquid.
it cleaned up pretty well... not super great on carbon removable but there are tools for that if you own an AR-15 you know they don't come in liquid form.

i'm no expert on lubricants... but I really do like this stuff
you don't rise to the occasion,
you just fall back on your level of training.
