    Frog Lube

I know many people think it's a snake-oil gimmick, but I've decided to try it out and see for myself. Can I ONLY purchase it from the stores they list on their website, or do other non-official distributors carry Frog Lube as well?

    Paste or liquid?

I use the paste if you want it liquid just warm it up a little it gets real runny fast. I like the paste it stays where you put it.

Liquid and I love the stuff. Smells much better than anything else I have tried and it is a cleaner as well as a lube.

I don't expect everything handed to me. Just set it down anywhere. Unknown

Purchase it wherever you can find it. I've seen it sold on Amazon w/ Prime shipping, and even my LGS/range has started to carry it as well.

I use the liquid for the bore and paste for everything else and it gets the job done for the amount I shoot (which is not a lot). I did see a few videos on YouTube about people putting few thousand rounds without any problems.

Being able to clean my firearms indoors without hearing my wife complaining about the smell is a plus.

I have frog lube on my 1911, SCAR and MWS 308 for the past 2 months and have shot close to 1 k rounds combined. No issue so far.

Do you also use some sort of grease on your 1911? I've heard they don't like just Frog Lube, and prefer some grease on the rails.

I use both on my guns. Many thousands of rounds later, no problems.

Glocks run on water, you don't need anything else.

Definitely give it a shot if you haven't yet.

I use both. The paste on the rails of my pistol. Liquid for the rest.

I've used both as well. Liquid for bore/barrel and paste for the rest. I did not try froglube until recently when I had a friend recommend I try it. I have had great results so far.

Amazon has 8oz paste + 4oz lube + a brush and cloth for $37 shipped. Am I likely to find a better deal than this at the Sacramento gun show at Cal Expo this weekend? If so, I'll wait and just get it there.

Also, is the paste a replacement for grease on a 1911's rails, or is it much thinner?

I use both the paste and liquid on my pistol, shotgun and AR. Liquid for the bore and paste for everything else as others have stated. Works great on all of my firearms. Being able to clean indoors is ideal for my living situation. Try it out...it works great.

They are not shipped with brushes, some dealers were throwing them in for a while. Use with a brush is not recommended by FrogLube as those thistles from the brush tend to come off during application and can cause issues if they get cause in the bolt track of the weapon
