Hmmm okay... how do you guys apply the paste to all the internals of your semi-auto pistols then? It seems like a brush could reach areas that I couldn't get with a cloth or cotton wipe, and most of the videos I've seen show people using a brush with the paste.

I use both. It is good stuff. I have had absolutely no problems and the gun cleans very easily.

Also, is the paste a replacement for grease on a 1911's rails, or is it much thinner?
Or you can buy now in Just Guns (watt ave.) or Wild bills (Elk Grove).

I'll have to check the packaging to be sure, but I could have sworn I got that same package at the Cow Palace Gun show (not the Nov 3-4 but the one before that) for $27.

I use it exclusively. Even for corrosive stuff with the red fleck, I notice it doesn't stick to the rifles anymore. The number of patches put through to clean is now minimal. The longer you use the stuff the better it gets. No downsides and no health concerns like other products.

Yeah I'm getting it mostly for the smell and non-toxic factors, I do love the smell of Hoppes #9 but I can't stand Break Free CLP.

How do you guys apply the paste to the internals of a semi-auto handgun if you don't use a brush?

I've been using FrogLube for about two years now and love the stuff. I cant say i'm to happy about how the price has went up about 150% so i have been looking at an off brand of FrogLube that i heard about here on CalGuns.

From what i understand it's the same tracklube formula but at a much cheaper price, i have no idea why i haven't ordered it yet but i plan to once my last tub of FL runs out.

                      The Price

We only raised the price 10% since it went on the market 2 1/2 years ago.

FrogLube just signed Chris Costa as their spokeman. Chris has been using FrogLube for a year. Last month Recoil magazine did an article on Chris and he said FrogLube was one of the things he will never leave home without, along with ChapStick and his Glock 19.

No grease. I just add a little more Frog Lube on the rails where there is the most movement. My 1911 seems to be ok with that so far.

Just used Frog Lube for the first time on my old Glenfield Model 25 (Marlin) .22 rifle, liquid for the bore and paste for everything else. I used a hairdryer to help it penetrate, and it hasn't looked this good in years!

Cleaning your guns in front of the TV is also nice... Break Free CLP gives me headaches, but working indoors with this stuff is enjoyable.

                                Next up... Mosin.
