I went through LuckyGunner.com; I would have chosen FedEx, but their closest hub is in Vacaville and I'm in the Napa area. I was planning on having to sign for the package and have to go to the hub to sign for/pick up the package, so I spent an extra $20 on UPS because they have a hub in Napa and is much closer. Had I known the package would have just been left on my doorstep, I would have saved the money on the difference between FedEx/UPS and got one more box of ammo...

The hub locations can make it a bit of a bear when it comes to choosing your shipper and you might be hauling that door tag across the country side to get your goods.

Last year I ordered a couple of Nike Jordan's from EastBay.com shipped through FedEx, the order almost came out to $300. So I had been waiting for them and tracking this FedEx package every day and it was around 3:00pm when I decided to check once more. I almost fell out of my chair when I saw on their website "package delivered on front door step @ 2:00pm". I called FedEx and they said that since it was standard shipping there was nothing they could do for me. I was disgusted with their lack of service so I immediately hopped in my car and drove around the block looking for a box on someones door step with no avail. I called EastBay and they said they would take care of it without making a fuss, I assume they must encounter this problem frequently. Anyhow I let them know how much I appreciated their quality of service, and I've since learned to only deal with reputable sites.

God didn't take your ammo, for sure. But, I absolutely will NOT use UPS EVER EVER EVER.... I've had all kinds of problems with stuff arriving damaged, and them damaging items I've shipped through them....Done

Freakin UPS accidentally delivered my two packages that worth about $600 to 2 houses down the street. And another time they left a huge package sitting on top of my mail box because they were too lazy to walk up my driveway and put it on my doorstep.

There's a reason why they call them the "Brown Plungers". Whenever an online vendor has a USPS option.... I always go for that.

Exactly why I paid an extra $20 over FedEx, so I could drive 10 mins across town and not spend an hour driving to Vacaville, but now I know I should have used the extra for another box of ammo and let FedEx handle it.

I had never had problems with them before, more problems with FedEx, but this has really put me off. FedEx from Grafs full of GP-11 was in a plain box, subtle, and everything came on time and in great condition...

UPS has been good to me for more orders than I can count. My delivery guy is a pretty cool dude too.

You win. Lol. How did it get resolved? I wonder how much effort UPS even puts in/into lip service in tracking things like ammunition and firearms down. It's really unnerving and discouraging.

well I use USPS for 99% of all my sales with so far only (1) package arriving empty (a grip pod). I have shipped $2k+ rifles with both UPS and USPS so far without any incident.
hope I didnt jinx myself though ive read horror stories when individuals are trying to claim insurance on lost, damaged or incomplete packages from all 3 shippers .

The best part was the tracking information. After a couple days of no updates while it was at my local hub(San Pablo) the information updated. It said "package found opened with all contents missing."

It was everything minus the stripped lower receiver. A complete rifle kit + accessories. I called the company and they shipped out another kit and said they'd take care of it.

The local UPS hires pretty shady people to sort the packages. I know because I've known a few of them. They're felons and gangbangers.

????? UPS has better tracking systems than fedex and usps. from the moment the packages being shipped to the time it's delivered, everything is tracked to the minutes. How did they steal your AR?
