I was just reading a couple of post on Georges FB page and people are guessing tonight's episode to be Jamies last.
I really hope not, but we'll just have to wait and see.

Should be a fun challenge (I'm not referring to the drama ) to watch tonight.

        Alright, who's watching?

Prediction: Joe S. and 'Gunny' go to elimination round.

You know for a fact that rescue swimmer school is hard? Did you attend said school? If not then your opinion is moot, you have no place in delineating the line between hard and not hard. Have you gone through the 2 1/2yr Combat Control pipeline? No? Then you have no clue what your talking about.

And for everyone else out there bashing on Ashley, none of you know him as a person or what hes done for his country. As a CCT they have the privilege of working with some of the most specialized units in the military. Most of you on this board have no clue what these units are or what they do and that's how it should be. So before anyone here criticizes one of the hardest earned military jobs (CCT) and has won a Bronze Star in Afghanistan for Valor in combat, then well you don't have the right to speak poorly of a man you don't even know. You don't know the truth, you only see what the editing wants you to see. Ashley would not be in the position within the SOF community that he has earned if he wasn't well respected. People on this board don't understand that if your not liked in that particular community, then your out. To say that Ashley is disrespecting his service is cowardice. To not recognize Jamie's false claims in asinine.

As for Jamie, I have no respect for a man who claims something other than what he is, especially when its about the military. The fight between him and Ashley isn't over whether or not he is a SEAL or if he is EOD or what have you, but rather his accolades and claims he has made during a so called "combat" deployment to Iraq as a rescue swimmer attached to a MARSOC (Marine Special Operations Command) unit. Until you know the facts, you need not jump to conclusions like most have already done.

Any real CCT's feel free to chime in and support or defer my claims above.

Mr. 4 the problem may be that you are referencing "facts" that no one has. George, Ashley, Chris, Gunny or Joe absolutely no one referenced the "fact" that Jamie claims to be some spec-ops warrior.
Their "gripe" has always been that Jamie wouldn't divulge what he does in the NAVY. Don't you think that may have been a strategic move on the part of Jamie? The fact that other people nick-named him SEAL team may have given Jamie a psychological advantage over others in the house. I don't blame him for trying to maintain any advantage he can. I also don't blame him for not answering every question put to him in a competition. Remember at no time was there any mention of a dispute over combat kills or combat deployment.
Regardless of that, the Ashley "bashing" was a consequence of what he said and how he acted towards another member of the armed forces. That is a FACT. Many people including myself respect Ashley's service and were pulling for him, until his outburst.
Ask yourself who is justified in their opinion, the people who actually heard and saw the words coming out of Ashley's mouth or the one (you) who bases an opinion on secondhand information. You say you have no respect for Jamie because of his "false" claims. But When Jamie publicly states what he does in front of every member of the competition who claims he lied, no one challenges him on his false service claims and statements. How much sense does that make to you? If there was a difference between what he had said before and what was openly stated, why didn't they all just call him on it right then and there?
The bashing was started by George and Ashley just picked up the ball and ran with it. The original grievance that was publicly aired by George was that Jamie wouldn't divulge what he did in the NAVY.
It sounds like you may have missed the show so far, so let me relate to you the exact words that turned people against Ashley.

Ashley "I just don't want to go up against (bleeped) fake *** Jamie that's all...that's all I give a (bleeped) about... What do you think about that?"
                              Jamie "Fake ***?"
Ashley "SEAL team, EOD, radio com guy, rescue swimmer, which one is it?"
(NOTE: yet again no mention of kills, or any other "facts" you reference)
Jamie "Not SEAL or EOD or what was the other one?
Ashley "Com guy slash rescue swimmer"
                              Jamie "Yeah"
Ashley " I don't know what do you do in the Navy?" (George's mantra)
Jamie " I am a rescue swimmer I'm attached to an EOD unit and I do (Bleeped) support for EOD" (how does it not get any clearer than that?)
Ashley Shrugs while looking at George for support.
Chris voice over " I don't particularly like the way Ashley is talking to Jamie. You know he's continuously calling him out and belittling him, and just basically picking on him." Chris doesn't say this is over the fact that Jamie claims kills in Iraq that didn't happen.

Jamie smiles looks at Ashley spreads his hands as if to say does that not answer the question about what I do?

Ashley sullenly stroking his beard while looking at the counter top...

Gunny "Jamie never said he was a SEAL, we referred to him, you know everybody had nicknames in the house and everybody called him SEAL team. Jamie never claimed to be a SEAL" Gunny doesn't say this is over Jamie's claims of confirmed kills in Iraq.

Next shot is Ashley standing near Jamie mad doggin' him while Jamie is looking at him like what else do you want to know.

Ashley walks away saying "That's what I thought... (Like he was looking for a fight) I can't stand fake (bleeped) people like you."

Then George is shown saying," I don't like how this is going down, I'm trying to keep the performance thing going."
I think everyone laughed pretty hard at that bit of irony.

If Ashley really thought that Jamie was fake why wouldn't he want to go up against him in the elimination round. It seems like if Ashley didn't respect his abilities at all, then the hardcore bad *** super soldier would WANT to eliminate Jamie personally. He certainly was acting like a bully in the kitchen. But to not want to face him where it would matter really says more about Ashley than anything else we've seen. Ashley's reluctance was probably due to the display of shooting skill Jamie had displayed up to that point. Ashley was clearly threatened by Jamie and that is probably why he chose to challenge him in the kitchen, where there would be no chance of being disqualified based on a shooting challenge.

The bottom line is that anyone that wears the uniform should be extended respect. If that person does something to demonstrate that it is not warranted, then opinions can and will change. Given the qualities that Jamie already demonstrated he appears to be a stand up guy and worthy of that respect. The negative public opinion has been earned by George and Ashley based on their words and actions alone.
You getting torqued over people reacting to Ashley's own words is asinine.
