"I do have to assume people will not read other posts or threads, this is a learning experience for me. I will not shake hands with a person I do not respect or that I know is a liar. I called Jamie out on some of his missions in Iraq (which they do not show) and he still will not answer them. He has said that he has confirmed kills in Iraq when he was attached to a certain group of guys whom I happen to know. Once this came out, I lost it. It is that simple. I posted the question to him on his page and he has deleted it, why? Another guy posted it on there and he deleted it, why? This is my problem I have with him as well of the rest of his team wanting him gone from week one due to his questionable stories all the time."

And although I don't claim to be an expert, it DOES smell a little funny that a Naval rescue swimmer would be attached to an EOD unit (as was talked about in the episode) or any other unit performing a combat role. Again, not sure on this, but I will ask some people who do know and report back with what I hear.
One needs to put their hip waders on before reading that crap.

If it's true then Ashley should have acted like a man and simply avoided Jaime. Acting like a spoiled child reflected poorly on him (as did the tattoos) and to some degree the AF. Guys like Ashley seem to think they has special permission to "lost it" and they don't.

For what it's worth I think Jaime is fairly bright (certainly a few standard deviations above both Ashley and George) and sized-up the sleazy politics of his own "teammates" fairly quickly. He also read George to be a loudmouth who tries to intimidate others. Ashley jumped on that bandwagon (just as George was trying to get off) once his own future was in doubt. I can't think of a better response by Jaime than to dummy-up and let immature individuals like Ashley and George broil away in the own ignorance and hatred. Intended or not, it certainly has gotten to both. Nice play, Jaime.

I also think that if Jaime was actually caught in lies about his service, the producers would have taken some fairly quick action. Jaime would disappear (called to deploy, help his great-great aunt, etc.) from the show or at the very least the subject would become verboten to discuss.

i think all the cast have facebook pages made by the show so they can "talk to the fans"

i doubt some of these military guys even have time or want to make a facebook page and set it to public viewing.

It's hilarious reading all the posts by the leg humpers on the cast's Facebook pages. I seriously urge y'all to check it out.

eod is not a combat related m.o.s. anyway!! and even gunny said jamie hadnt said he was a seal. there are always people like ashley who think they are the hardest in the military, but usually they have airborne and air assault and pathfinder badges to back up their claimes of being hardcore. i would like to see ashley make it through rescue swimmer school. what is the hardest school in the air force? im sure rescue swimmer school is harder

Not defending Ashley, but you might wanna learn more about training and tasks carried out by AF Combat Control Teams if you think they aren't "hard". They are a very skilled group of individuals who see quite a bit of combat.

Since the competitors are prevented from making outside contact during the competition, how would Ashley supposedly have been able to verify Jaime's combat duty? Seems like FUD.

PJ school is reputed to be the hardest school in the AF, AF CCT school is probably bringing up 2nd place. Delta is Army, not AF...

                      Shot angle consistency?

They've got a half dozen cameras on the shooters. They wanted one particular angle of the shooter, but maybe that camera didn't provide the best image, either due to lighting, shooter position, etc....

Easy. Grab the shot from the camera on the opposite side and flip it so it looks like one cameraman shot the entire segment.

Check the profiles. Jaime, George, and Ashley are active duty, but most of the military guys on the cast from the start are retired.

What's weird is that they even did it for the 1-2 second segment previewing Ashley's shooting in the elimination round. That's not enough time to even bother with and it didn't provide any consistency in that instance (don't remember about the first one with Ian). Then, when they show the actual elimination round, there is no reversed video. I know it doesn't matter, but it just struck me as very odd.

Combat Controllers do go to swim school to become combat divers (like Seals), in addition to Airborne, SERE, and Army Free Fall.

But Ashley still should of at least shook Jamie's hand.

ok well i never said they werent " " hard " " but i do know for a fact that rescue swimmer school is hard. and i did ask what the hard schools in the airforce were. if he went to SERE school for real then i give him props. that is supposed to be one of the toughest schools in the military. hes still not a very good guy. i dont know if dive school and rescue swimmer school are the same.

Jamie posted some very detailed stuff about what the got George and Ahsley all worked up. Seems silly.

Someone posted on Ashley's page that her husband was in the Navy with Jamie and that he was her husband's best man (from what I can understand, her wording was mixed up), and that he can back up what Jamie says, etc.
