I like the show, but I'm not impressed by some of the shooting.
Everybody I spotted with bad form turned out to be the ones that didn't hit squat.

I still think shes kinda hot just for the fact that she said "who doesn't like to
see an Asian Chick kick butt". I gotta feel for the females. Seems like they
both were last choice on this show. Wonder what would of happened if this
was a female themed Top Shot...

But I do agree with one thing, she could be straight Cong if ever there was one..
I wasn't over there, but I was in when the 101st first came back and she fits
the script from what the ex in country told me when they'd talk out at the
flight line..They seldom did, but one does make friends when the bullets aren't
flying and you're respectable to those who were..Touchy business, that.

By the way, I thought the cue ball blow ups were pretty cool..

I guess this was from last season, but has anyone ever thrown a
bowie knife ? I used to be fair at making screwdrivers and the like
stick, but I always threw from the shank or blade section, not
from the handle. Seemed to fly straighter, as least for me.

I saw that and was thinking the shooters didn't have much experience with the set triggers (using too much finger) or the off-set hammer

I looked like some of the variation in strikes had to do with how they rested the barrel on the bags and where they placed their off-hand...I'll have to pay more attention when it repeats. It has been my experience that slower bullets in rifles are very susceptible to variations in pressure

watching the recorded, now, before the "shoot-off", i will bet on chris, during the 44mag practice, he fired double action. travis was shooting single action, (not impressive).

a pool ball isn't a very big target to hit with an unfamiliar weapon.

And maybe they didn't make it clear -- there was a pool ball directly IN FRONT of the one there were supposed to shoot -- they had to lean left or right while staying on a little platform.

Still no excuse for taking 25 minutest to shoot eight pool balls at 25-50 feet. Series 80 Colt 1911.

I gotta say one of my favorite things about the show is how portions of it are shot. All the high speed and other beauty shots of the actions working, flying projectiles and target impacts...etc are gorgeous.
