I agree with specialized guns with IPSC shooters and unfamiliarity with new guns, but still they should have basic principles down over a new shooter, like a golf pro having the swing down no matter what club or iron he's using. So far the guns were pretty modern and not like flint locks or muzzle loaders.
I agree with all of this as well, but in the first season, even the Pistoleers lost in the Pistol Matches. I think that a combination of performance anxiety coupled with being used to a tuned gun, instead of a factory gun, could have caused them to falter when everything was on the line.

My friends get on my case because I like to switch guns, calibers, and loads every month instead of just practicing with one gun with the same load. However, my trigger control and sight acquisition has improved greatly in the last few months. I am comfortable using a DA/SA, SA, and striker fired in 9mm or .45ACP. I am still trying to figure out DAO, it still gives me problems.

The drama in the previews and the reality are somewhat different

I thought the elimination was really cool and the shooters tightly matched

Too bad Maggie was eliminated. Based on the TV show, she seemed to be the voice of calm, non-testosterone reason on the Blue Team. Is it just me, or did Jay and Maggie have a real friendly relationship going on?

Next week looks interesting. It looks like the team challenge will be stock Colt Series 80 1911s, but the elimination challenge might be using one of those "open" category competition guns. Brian Zins doesn't get much air time, but he should once again do well in this challenge.

I didn't see that, although it sounded like Ashley was definitely crushing on her. Can't say that I blame him! Everytime they had Maggie talking, she said something smart. She'd make an excellent spokeswoman.

Next week should be awesome! I'm thinking Chris Tilley will clean up next week, since it is a speed-based challenge. He's been on fire ever since getting that high-n-tight.

Well, now that Maggie has been eliminated, I guess there is no more incentive to watch .

I think her sponsors Surefire, Safariland, Hornady, and Voigt Technologies would say the same thing.

What I want to know is why did no one vote for the other guy that never hit his target? At least Kyle finally hit his, and I would have thought that Kyle would have voted for him.

Maybe TOp Shot season 4 can be a combination of shooting competition and lingerie photoshoot.

Feminists would no doubt be horrified, and Calgunners would complain incessantly about their horrible marksmanship, but I'll bet History Channel would get their highest ratings EVAR!1!1!11!!!1

If Tilley doesn't rock the next challenge, I don't know what to say. He is a world champ at action pistol.

For season 4 they could have all women and call it the ladies special.
