I liked it looks like its going to be good. The white chick is hella hot.Comment

Very impressive resume for sure but that won't win you the award. Everyone is on the same playing field when it comes to the challenges. The only thing that matters is.. can you make the shot?I think Athena is really getting a bad rap, this chick rocks. Plus Asian chicks are just HOT.

Not to many on this board can boost of these kind of credentials. that being said you can watch the episodes on HULU.

I'm leaning this way too. He reminds me of 3-gunner Ian from S1. Calm, collected and performs on demand.Last edited by SuperSet; 02-11-2011, 6:25 PM.Comment

Ok, I just caught Ep 1 online. I thought overall it was a pretty good episode. I liked Jermaine's performance; I thought Jay was allright too. I was disappointed the girls didn't shoot better - was hoping they would really show the men how it's done. The winner of the elimination competition, he did quite well, hitting 5 out of 8 moving targets with the .44mag. I doubt I could do better.

Yea , the women were a disappointment in ep1. But im glad they at least made it through the first show, makes it interesting. Tara from last season was very solid, but had to leave early due to family matters. They should bring her back in a future show. Sure you have to be a great shot but you have to deal with all the other reality show crap. The strongest usually become targeted. Anybody can dominate or suck on any given day with the way the challenges are setup.

Top Shot. Part 1. Was Jake smart to interview shooters?
I recieved a good reply to my application but simply coudn't afford monitarily to take timeoff.
Anyways...I thought that Jake was very intelligent to interview shooters. Even though they lost the first round, It seems to me like common sense already decided which team will win.
1st. elmimination or not. Only time, Luck and Skill will tell. Guess you can tell who I vote for. If it were legal, I'd take bets. What do you think? Red or Blue?Comment

Apparently Ashley is also a CA Native, it says in the article in the second link that he was born in Monterrey. One of the contestants is USAF CCT. Ashley Spurlin.

I gather you mean Jay who captains the Blue team.
I thought he was intelligent too, but being an outsider to the shooting community will be his biggest hurdle with other top caliber shooters...because the journey is the worthier part...The Shepherd's TaleComment

I like the red team leader. Low key, and he can shoot.Comment

I'd like to see Brian "Gunny" Zins going real far in the show. They didn't say much about him in the first episode, but he's won the NRA Bullseye pistol championship 10 times already. Grouping 1.5" at 50 yards with a 45, one handed, is an average day for him.Comment

I didn't like the USAF sniper dude, kind of cocky.
Just out of curiosity, I wonder when was the last time a USAF sniper was called into action?Comment

Air Force Para-rescue guys are a breed apart from the rest of the Air Force IMO, not sure about the snipers. I'm guessing the photo below is indicative of the kind of action he's seen...
