I think nerves got the better of most the people and the next show should be better.

Could this be one of the reasons that they (Chris T, Maggie and Athena) shot so poorly on the challenge? I was pretty disappointed that they didn't perform well and was wondering if they just got used to shooting an Open gun.

Some of these contestants have impressive resumes, but that's with their own custom gear. Top Shot has all been box-stock/off the rack level stuff. No custom triggers, comps, brakes, etc.

actually i think you are right as well, very few open shooters that i know shoot anything but open, and when they do they dont shoot nearly as well.

new top shot was pretty cool... I like the Sniper dude, and HATE the Asian Guy... I mean yes you are team captain, but you are a golf instructor, dont talk down to someone who had a bad day... That said, Chris Tilley is legit

That "Golf Instructor" was the only one in the field of "Shooting Pro's" to hit the 200 yard target with the antique rifle. I would give credit where credit is due. He is one of the best shooters there. I'm a city bus driver. Would I qualify for the show if I could shoot like that? You bet.
