DONT GET HER A GUN! If she wont use the pepper spray, she definitely wont use a gun, it will prolly be used against her. You both need to learn some self defense, ASAP! I agree that you should confront the dude, especially in the social situation in your OP. Even if you think he will kick ur ***, if you have witnesses around, guess who gets the shiny new bracelets for assault...not that I recommend getting ur *** kicked.

As a black belt and head instructor for womens self defense classes, I can tell you that with the right training, this will become a non-issue. Obviously, you wont become bruce lee overnite, but for example our 3 hour intensive seminar gives women the basic skills they need to defend themselves in this EXACT situation, as well as the confidence to execute said techniques. I have had students who attended the class and needed to use the skills they learned to defend themselves, and it worked! It's always rewarding to hear those stories of VICTORY!!

I saw someone post about Krav Maga, this is a good system, similar to my kung-fu system Shou Shu: Simple & effective. You need something that has no frills, no competition training, no empty promises like a black belt in 1 year or some crap. If you want to let me know where you are located, I might be able to recommend a place for you to go, our system has a lot of schools throughout california.

I agree that u both should file a police report. And I too have a very attractive wife who gets ALOT of attention with or w/out me. Its a HUGE compliment man, as long as u know who she comes home to every night, dont sweat the small stuff. That being said, TRUST UR INSTINCTS. If u feel he was being shady, he prolly was. If she felt threatened, she prolly was. That whole hindsights 20/20 thing can be a *****! Be proactive, not reactive.

Haven't seen hide nor hair of him in weeks, I think he got the message when I called his gf and some other folks... why I haven't confronted him is - don't know who he is, don't know where he lives, and he's only followed wife around when I'm not there. I've met him ONCE- although I did have prior knowledge to where he would be, got in wife's car and followed him for a change and let him get a good look at me while I wrote down his plate number.

I would have words with him personally to let him know just how I felt about him following my wife around. If he said anything besides "Sorry, it won't happen again", he would get the mother of all beatings. You don't mess with another man's wife/family.

OP, good work chasing him down, and thanks for the follow up. Stay alert, your trips to the local BDSM club may give him the message that she's still available. Despite your affinity for expanding the breadth of human sexuality, it may be working against your ideals of an open relationship with a wife who keeps her own home. There isn't much you can really do about this but question the basis you've built your relationship on.

There's much good advice in this thread. Try not to ignore it so much and man up. Police reports only go so far. Be prepared for a backlash if you really did chase him down in your wife's car. Be prepared with more than pepper spray and tasers. Those things are temporary and imperfect. They lack the immediacy and impact of a handgun.

I can't give much more in the way of advice, I've only ever been stalked by women. Cougars. Watch out for them.

Oh yeah, one other thing. Confront your woman on this situation. Something tells me you're looking here because she's not talking to you about it. That should tell you something, aside from the fact that she's cheating, which you know already.

I can accept someone looking at my girl because that is a compliment to both of us to a point but if they get rude or freak her out I will be in their face in a heartbeat , I think you do need to man up a little and take care of your wife , or I think your wife might lose a little faith in you one day.
