At this point, I suspect any order placed will be back-ordered (the sites I was checking are now all back-ordered). If a stay is granted, the backorders will be cancelled. So, if you do place an order, the only way you get the 10+ magazines is if the stay is not granted. Heads you win, tails they lose?

I confirmed with Grabagun.com customer service that they are shipping standard cap mags to CA. I placed an order Sat night and they shipped it today!

Unless your shipment is on the back of a UPS truck when the stay takes effect... in which case: you lose.

Just run the dang numbers - thousands of thousands of mags on their happy way to CA. You think Xavier is coming for your stuff? No way on God's earth unless you go to his office and start throwing them at his security detail....then maybe you become a test case.

I hypothetically placed an order Sunday morning. They juts told me that my order ' is in transit from an offside warehouse to their shipping center and is scheduled to ship Thursday'.

I placed one on Sunday morning as well. Was hoping it would ship Tuesday at the latest in case anything happens

If you haven't read the decision I suggest you do. This judge GETS IT! He hammers the tyrannical CA government. It is a great read.

This decision is a freedom calculus decided long ago by Colonists who cherished
individual freedom more than the subservient security of a British ruler. The freedom
they fought for was not free of cost then, and it is not free now.
                IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that:
                1. Defendant Attorney General Xavier Becerra, and his officers, agents, servants,
employees, and attorneys, and those persons in active concert or participation with him,
and those duly sworn state peace officers and federal law enforcement officers who gain
knowledge of this injunction order, or know of the existence of this injunction order, are
enjoined from enforcing California Penal Code section 32310.
                2. Defendant Becerra shall provide, by personal service or otherwise, actual notice
of this order to all law enforcement personnel who are responsible for implementing or
enforcing the enjoined statute. The government shall file a declaration establishing proof
                of such notice.
                DATED: March 29, 2019

If I am out of state...
Am I still prohibited from buying standard capacity mags and bringing them home when I fly back or shipping them to myself in Ca.?

This is where Benetiz has a chance to shine.

IF he decides to grant a stay, he could give all of the magazines ordered before the stay, or maybe even all of the magazines ordered before a certain time and date in the near future, the very same grandfathered status as pre-existing magazines.

This way he show the 9th he is very reasonable, and avoids making instant felons out of many citizens.

Incidentally, this also has a very good chance of giving definitive proof that the magazine ban is unnecessary. By the time the appeals are finished, these magazines will have been in CA for years with no mass shootings arising because of them.

This is the stupidity of all this. There are now and have been for many years, millions of standard capacity magazines in CA. They fail to see that they have not been a factor. One guy uses a 30 round mag in another state and they penalize all the law abiding sportsmen.

Mass shooting sprees are not done by guns or magazines, they are accomplished by evil people. Prosecute the people, not the tool.

I find it somehow hilarious that after the Prop 63 (Gunmaggedon that bans magazines and other stuffs) became law, there was a statewide volunteering from the gun owners that tried to collect signatures to make another proposition that can overturn the Prop 63 on the next ballot. Too many gun owners didn't care to sign that initiative. The result was not enough signatures for that initiative to become proposition on the ballot. But now when there's a chance to buy magazines, everyone jumps in the bandwagon.

Except for Defendant's allowing as how provision could be made for those who have already "purchased" 10+ magazines prior to the stay being granted (see page 2, lines 19 - 22 of Defendants Memorandum of Points and Authorities). Note the word purchased, not received. Xavier is willing to let those who have purchased LCMs prior to the stay being granted to import and possess those LCMs. In other words, a win.
